East Alabama Medical Center Chooses Velocity Technology Solutions for Infor 10 Application Management Services
CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - December 08, 2015) - Velocity Technology Solutions, a global leader in enterprise and business application cloud services, today announced that it has added East Alabama Medical Center (EAMC) to its growing community of Infor / Lawson system customers.

Velocity Technology Solutions started providing Application Management Services in September and helped EAMC prepare for Open Enrollment which was successfully conducted from October through November. Utilizing the Infor / Lawson system for the first time for benefit open enrollment for its 3,000 employees, EAMC has now successfully exposed the Infor system to all employees for self-service activities within several months of going live on Infor 10. A user of Infor / Lawson's full suite of products to include Financials, Procurement, and Global Human Resources, EAMC uses the Infor / Lawson system to conduct key business processes for payroll, benefits, financial reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

East Alabama Medical Center is a 340-bed regional referral hospital located in Opelika that serves a six-county area.
